The trip we took with Kamaal was the most exciting, well managed and enjoyable widlife trip we've been on. Kamaal's knowledge of the parks, of the wildlife, and of people made for a great trip. He is passionate about the tigers, and really undersood that not just seeing them, but seeing them undisturbed, in their natural state was really important to our group. He went out of his way to ensure we stayed clear of the crowds, and we spent (tense, and fun) hours following alarm calls, pugmarks, even tiger poo(!), and Kamaal's nose for a tiger, to get some great views, even during the New Year holiday when both crowds and vegetation are high. Kanha and Bandhavgarh are wonderful NPs and with Kaamal as guide - whether you want to take photos or just enjoy the thrill of tracking and seeing these majestic cats in the wild - you definitely won't be disappointed!

We met Kamaal on a 12 day visit to India when he acted as leader of our 10 strong tour party. It is no exaggeration to say that Kamaal's presence made the tour a great success for us and our companions. His deep knowledge of the habits of tigers and wildlife in general ensured that the time we spent in Ranthambore was utterly fascinating. Also, in tours of the cities he knew all the best places to go and was able to give us unique glimpses of India and the Indian way of life. I well remember many a long discussion on religion, Indian wildflife and the complexities of the Indian political system!

Kamaal was also very caring of the safety of his charges and, fundamentally was a "good bloke" who could always be relied upon and who came to be less of a leader and more of a friend.
